Japan based JX Nippon Oil and Energy has shut its olefins conversion unit in this week, as per market source. Reason behind this shut down due to weak economic situations. It is tentative when the unit will resume its operation. Unit is located at Kawasaki, Japan and has production capacity around 140,000mt/year for Propylene.
