India based OMPL has shutdown its aromatic unit for maintenance. According to company sources the unit has been shutdown due to soft margins. It is likely to remain off-stream till mid of November. its aromatics plant has a nameplate production capacity of 900,000 mt/year of paraxylene and 300,000 mt/year of benzene.
