JX Nippon Oil and Energy is operating one of its Para Xylene plant at its Kashima unit. The unit was shut down recently due to fire incident which occurred on 29th May 2015. The company has got two Para Xylene units over there. Two of its units has the production capacity of 4,20,000 mt/year and 1,80,000 mt/year. No casualty has been reported in this mishap.
