Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd (HOCL) planning to restart its phenol/Acetone plant.
The further postponement in restarting its phenol/acetone unit from the second half of September was caused by funding delays, which held up the delivery of raw material to its plant, said the source.
HOCL’s plant can produce 40,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 24,640 tonnes/year of acetone.
