According to sources, HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited has shut down its PP plant. This was an abrupt shut down due to an emergency created by technical fault. The plant is likley to resume its production in the month of december. Unit is based at Bhatinda in Punjab and has the production capacity of PP around 4,40,000 mt/year.
