Saudi International Petrochemical Co has restarted production at its International Gases Co, which was earlier disrupted at two of its units in mid-August, has been resolved and production was back to normal. Production of acetic acid at International Acetate Co and ethyl acetate at Sipchem Chemicals Co is now at full capacity, Sipchem said in a statement. The financial impact of the disruptions is estimated at 17 million riyals ($4.6 million), which will be reflected in third-quarter results.
