Reliance Industries successfully commissioned a PTA plant at Dahej in Gujarat. The plant has the capacity of 1150 KTA and is built by deploying Invista technology. By starting of this plant Reliance’s total production capacity will increased to 3.2 MMPTA and global share to 4 percent.
The basic feedstock for this plant is Para Xylene which is being sourced from Reliance’s refinery from Jamnagar.
