JBF Industries of India is to start up its new PTA plant in Mangalore in the month of December in this year. Plant is located in the Special Economic Zone of Mangalore. The construction of the plant was started in the year 2013 and is having the production capacity of 1.25 million mt/year of PTA. The plant is being constructed using the technology of BP. The plant is likely to go on-stream in the month end of December of 2015.
