Thailand based PTT Phenol will shut down its Phenol/Acetone unit for scheduled maintenance turnaround.
The units are likely to go off-stream in the second week of May and are expected to resume production in the month of June.
The plant, which can produce 250,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 154,000 tonnes/year of acetone, are based at Map Ta Phut in Rayong province of Thailand.
