PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has shut down its High Density PolyEthylene plant. The production has been discontinued due to shortage in the supply of feedstock Ethylene. According to company sources, unit is likely to remain close for 10 days. Unit is based at Map Ta Phut in Thailand and has the production capacity of 2,50,000 mt/year.
