Saudi Arabia based SADARA Chemicals is planning to start a new cracker unit by March end. According to company officials the mixed feed cracker will ramp up to feed of 85 million standard cubic feet per day of ethane and 50,000 barrels per day of naphtha.According to Sadara, it will be the first chemical complex in Saudi Arabia to use naphtha as feedstock and the largest petrochemical facility to be built in a single phase. It comprises of 26 integrated facilities. All facilities are scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2017.
