Saudi Arabia's Advanced Petrochemical Company is planning to shut its propane dehydrogenation unit and a polypropylene unit in the last week of February for scheduled maintenance turnaround. The turnaround is likely to last for four weeks.
Unit based at Jubail and has the production capacity of PDH around 5,00,000 mt/year and PP around 4,50,000 mt/year.
Advanced Petrochemical accounts for about 5% of the Middle East's propylene and PP capacities.
