Petrochemical unit has been restarted by Saudi Polymers company. Earlier the unit was shut down abruptly on 11th May due to some technical fault.
Unit is based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia and has the production capacity to produce propylene 430,000 mt/year, Ethylene 1.16 million mt/year, HDPE 1.1 million mt/year, Hexene 1,00,000 mt/year, PP production capacity of 400,000 mt/year and PS production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
