Shell Chemical's steam cracker is expected to resume in the next few weeks. The cracker was shut for unplanned maintenance to repair a compressor at Pulau Bukom. The cracker, is having the production capacity of ethylene around 960,000 mt/year, propylene 540,000 mt/year and butadiene 186,000 mt/year.
