ExxonMobil has shut down its Singapore based Singapore Chemical Plant (SCP) for maintenance turnaround. The plant is likely to remain off-stream for few weeks. The plant has the production capacity to produce 1.9mt/year of Ethylene, 1.9mt/year of PolyEthylene, 930,000 mt/year of PolyPropylene.
The company also has an aromatic unit having the production capacity of 530,000 tonnes/year of Para Xylene (PX), 580,000 tonnes/year of benzene and 380,000 tonnes/year of Toluene
