Exxon Mobil Research and Engineering group (EMRE) and Sinopec Engineering group are jointly taking part in a Cooperative Development Agreement (CDA) for the further development of fluid bed Methanol to Gasoline technology. This CDA has been designed to pull the two companies to use their expertise knowledge in the development of this technology. The main aim of this collaboration is to develop fluid bed MTG design which will be significantly less costly to construct and operate.
The two companies have worked efficiently in past to develop the several such technologies and has been successful.
