Japan based Nippon Steel has restarted its no 2 SM unit after brief maintenance period. Earlier the unit was shut down for maintenance in last week of March. It has resumed its production last weekend. The unit is located in Oita, Japan and has the production capacity of 1,90,000 mt/year.
