South Korea’s Hanwha Total Petrochemical to restart its SM units in the month of May. The two SM plants were shut down in the month of April for annual maintenance turnaround.
The plant having the capacity of 6,50,000 mt/year will restart in next week and the other plant having the capacity of 2,80,000 mt/year will restart in last week of May 2015.
Hanwha Total Petrochemical was renamed on 1 May 2015, after Samsung General Chemicals sold its share to the Hanwha business group.
