Taiwan SM Corp is planning to shut its SM unit for maintenance turnaround. The plant, located in Kaohsiung, has the production capacity of 1, 80,000 tonnes/year. The other SM producers in Taiwan are Formosa Chemicals & Fiber Corp and Grand Pacific Petrochemical Corp.
