On Wednesday, Taiwan based FCFC was shut its aromatic unit after Hydrogen leak sparked a flash fire. No losses have been reported. Specific date of the shut down has not been specified by the company. Aromatic unit is located at Mailiao and has production capacity to produce Para Xylene around 870,000tonne/year, Ortho Xylene around 150,000tonne/year and Benzene around 470,000tonne/year.
