China based Tenglong aromatic unit which was in new news for the explosion took place at its chemical unit. The unit is likely to remain shut form remain for at least six months.
Tenglong’s Para Xylene plant caught fire in the April after a major explosion. The maintenance and repair work carried will take at least six months to return the project back on track. The government officials are in no mood to grant the permission too early and may even asked the plant to remain off-stream for whole of the year 2015.
