Chennai Petrochemical Corp. has restarted two crude unit of its 210,000bpd crude processing capacity at Manali refinery which is located at Tamil Nadu. Chennai Petrochemical had last week shut its Manali refinery due to heavy floods in the Southern state. As per marker source, Company is starting units in phases and anticipated all units will be operational by end of week. Source said crude units that were started on Wednesday evening have a combined capacity of about 120,000bpd.
Chennai petrochemical is a unit of country’s biggest refiner, Indian oil corp.
