PetroChina has shut down it’s crude distillation unit at its oil refinery in Dalian due to a fire accident caused by a leak at its heat exchanger.
The unit has a capacity to distill 200,000 barrels of crude-per-day was closed for maintenance for few days.
The Dalian refinery has three crude distillation units with a combined crude processing capacity of 410,000 bpd.
