Singapore based Dairen Chemical Corp has been operating its VAM plant at reduced rates. The production rate has been reduced to 50% of its original capacity. Earlier the plant was shut in the month of November due to unavailability of feedstock Ethylene. Plant restarted its production in the first week of January. Plant is based at Jurong island in Singapore and has the production capacity of 3,50,000 tonnes/year.
