Dairen Chemical is planning to shut down its VAM unit for maintenance turnaround. The company has not announced its exact date for the maintenance schedule. The unit is based at Dashe, Kaohshiung in Taiwan and has ht production capacity of 1, 20,000 tonnes/year. The shutdown is in line with the turnaround of an upstream acetic acid plant.
