There has been significant rise in VAM prices in Indian domestic market. The rise has been in particular due to abnormal rise in Acetic Acid prices in last two weeks. Acetic Acid is the raw material for VAM manufacturing. Prices at Kandla and Mumbai port were assessed around Rs.93/Kg, increased by Rs.20/Kg in last two weeks.
