Celanese Corporation has shut down its VAM unit for maintenance turnaround. The operations have been put on halt due to shortage in the supply of feedstock. The company has not released any information related o restart of its VAM unit. Unit is based at Jurong island in Singapore and has the production capacity of 2, 10,000 mt/year.
