Sinopec Chongqing SVW Chemicals shut down their VAM unit in the last week of December 2017. The unit is based at China and is one of the major supplier of VAM in the country. The unit has the production capacity of 5,00,000 tonnes/year. The unit is likely to go on-stream by January end.
