Weekly Price Trend: 28-08-2017 to 01-09-2017
The above given graph focuses on the Acetone price trend. If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that this week prices of Acetone have followed firm trend. By the end of the week prices of Acetone were assessed at the level of Rs.54/kg for Kandla and 54/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

INDIA& INTERNATIONAL
- For the current week in domestic market acetone price have remained firm in compare to previous week and at the end of the week prices were assessed at the level of Rs 54/kg for Kandla and Rs 54/kg Mumbai ports.
- This week in international market, prices of Acetone have increased in compare to previous week.
- In US on account of hurricane Harvey all the refinery and production units have been shut which has resulted in shortage of supply.
- As per market players in near term it is anticipated that Acetone prices will go up as on account of tropical storm in US supply of material have been stopped.
- In Asian market Feedstock benzene prices continued to climb on concerns over a possible tightening of supply.
- Benzene stock at east China has plunged to 124000mt, As per report.
- This week feedstock benzene prices have increased with the shortage of supply.
- FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 805/mt and USD820/mt respectively.
