Weekly Price Trend: 02-04-2018 to 06-04-2018

 The above given graph focuses on the Acetone price trend. If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that this week prices of Acetone have plunged. By the end of the week prices of Acetone were assessed at the level of Rs.58.5/kg for Kandla and 58.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

INDIA& INTERNATIONAL    

• For the current week in domestic market acetone price have plunged and at the end of the week prices were assessed at the level of Rs 58.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 58.5/kg Mumbai ports.
• This week in international market, prices of Acetone have remained firm in compare to previous week.
• This week Acetone prices have remained soft-to-stable no major deals and discussion has been heard.
• US contract reduced for March settlement for the month of March by 2.5 cents at the level of 42.50 cents/bl. Profuse supply of Acetone in many regions of the country has pulled down the values. Feedstock values for Propylene have also reduced for this week. All these factors has been contributing for lowering of Acetone values.
• This week crude oil prices have remained volatile. On Thursday oil prices increased from gains in U.S. equities markets as trade tensions between China and the United States eased, but the advance was limited by strength in the dollar.
• On Thursday, closing crude values have increased. WTI on NYME closed at $63.54/bbl; prices have decreased by $0.17/bbl in compared to last closing prices. While Brent on Inter Continental Exchange increased by $0.31/bbl in compared to last trading and was assessed around $68.33/bbl.
• Feedstock Benzene inventories at shore tanks along eastern China increased.
• Feedstock benzene prices have increased in Asian market this week.
• FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 835/mt and USD 835/mt respectively.
