The above given graph focuses on the Acetone price trend. If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that this week prices of Acetone have decreased. By the end of the week prices of Acetone were assessed at the level of Rs.56/kg for Kandla and 56/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

- For the current week in domestic market acetone price have decreased in compare to previous week and at the end of the week prices were assessed at the level of Rs 56/kg for Kandla and Rs 56/kg Mumbai ports.
- This week in international market, prices of Acetone also have decreased in compare to previous week.
- This week market has remained soft on account of holiday season.
- In 2018, China’s acetone prices in the domestic market are expected to stay high on the back of strong demand.
- The inventory of benzene at east China ports declined.
- This week crude oil prices have remained fluctuating. As 2017 draws to a close, On Thursday oil prices increased on lifted by strong data from top importer China and on increased U.S. refining activity that drew more crude from inventories. Recently, thin trading activity ahead of the New Year weekend.
- As per report, market condition has been tight due to ongoing supply cuts led by OPEC, as well as top producer Russia.
- On Thursday, closing crude values have increased. WTI on NYME closed at $59.84/bbl; prices have increased by $0.20/bbl in compared to last closing prices. While Brent on Inter Continental Exchange increased by $0.28/bbl in compared to last trading and was assessed around $66.72/bbl.
- Feedstock benzene prices have increased in Asian market this week.
- FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 870/mt and USD 885/mt respectively.
