• This week in the domestic market, prices of EDC have plunged in compare to previous week and were assessed at Rs 16.5/kg.
• In international market, prices of EDC have remained firm in compare to earlier week.
• Presently EDC market is moving with soft velocity demand sentiments have been resilient from end users.
• FOB Korea and CFR China prices of feedstock ethylene were evaluated at USD 1015/mt and 1095/mt.
• South East Asia prices of EDC were evaluated at USD 1025mt.
• This week crude oil prices have followed volatile trend and on Thursday market closed on weak note. Oil prices fell more than 1.5 percent on Thursday, to hit two-week lows, dragged lower by persistent oversupply worries despite a bigger-than-expected drawdown in U.S. crude inventories.
