• As per the above graph, it has been inferred that this week the prices of EDC have remained firm in compare to previous week and at the end of this week prices were assessed at the level of Rs 13.5/kg.

• This week in the domestic market, prices of EDC have remained firm in compare to previous week and were assessed at Rs 13.5/kg.
• In international market, prices of EDC also have decreased in compare to earlier week.
• This week EDC and VCM prices increased in Asia on strength in downstream product prices as demand increased.
• For feedstock ethylene bullish buying sentiments have heard on account of this prices have escalated.
• As per news, Asahimas has shut its No.2 VCM plant for a maintenance turnaround, it is located in Anyer, Indonesia, having production capacity of 250,000 mt/year
• FOB Korea prices of feedstock ethylene USD 1355/MT
• CFR China prices of feedstock ethylene USD 1385MT
• CFR South East Asia prices of feedstock ethylene USD 1285/MT.
