• As per the above graph, it has been inferred that this week the prices of EDC have remained firm in compare to previous week and at the end of this week prices were assessed at the level of Rs 24/kg.

Total import for last six months

Above graph represents the total import quantity of EDC in previous six months. As per chart In total imports were around 206792mt.In last six months in the month of January, 2017 higher quantity has been imported while in November import were lesser.

• This week in the domestic market, prices of EDC have remained firm in compare to previous week and were assessed at Rs 24/kg.
• In international market, prices of EDC have remained firm in compare to earlier week.
• This week upstream ethylene prices have remained firm market is moving with firm velocity.
• As per market players end user players such as PVC have said that in  Asia PVC buyers monitor market on cues for additional price declines.
• CFR South East Asia prices of feedstock Ethylene were assessed at the level of USD1030/mt.

• FOB Korea and CFR China prices of ethylene were assessed at the level of USD 1095/mt and USD 1135/mt.
