Weekly Price Trend: 30-10-2017 to 03-11-2017

• The above given graph focuses on Formaldehyde price trend for the current week.
• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 14.00/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 30th Oct to 03rd Nov, 2017. Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed weak inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs. 14/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde also had followed weak trend at Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of previous week prices of methanol were assessed at Rs. 26.25/Kg for Kandla and Mumbai port.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed firm tendency and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.13.5/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol had followed firm proclivity, on 30th  Oct, 2017 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 23.5/kg for Kandla and Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 03rd Nov, 2017 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 23.5/kg for Kandla and for Mumbai ports of India.

Previous week, CFR India methanol prices have plunged, domestic prices also have plunged. This week methanol prices have remained firm and formaldehyde prices also have plunged. CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 315/MTS. This week prices have increased by USD 5/mt in compares to last assessed price.
