Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed firm inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.16.5/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde had followed up trend and at the end of the week prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 31.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 31.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed up trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.19/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol had followed up trend, on 1st Oct, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 32.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 32.5/kg for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 05th Oct, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 35.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 35.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 370/MTS. This week prices have increased USD 5 in compares to last assessed price.
