Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde also had followed vluctuating trend and at the end of the week prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 31.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 31.75/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed volatile trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.16.25/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed volatile trend, on 03rd Sep, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 31.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 31.5/kg for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 07th Sep, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 30.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 31/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 369/MTS. This week prices have decreased in compares to last assessed price.
