• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 16.25/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from 14th May to 18thMay, 2018.

Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed weak inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.16.5/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend and at the end of the week on prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 32.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 32.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.16.25/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol had followed weak proclivity, on 14th May, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 32/kg for Kandla and Rs 32/kg  for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 18th May, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 31.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 31.75/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 385/MTS. This week prices have decreased by USD 4MT in compares to last assessed price.
