• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that the market of Formaldehyde had followed volatile trend in the domestic market and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 18.5/Kg at Ahmedabad Port.

The above given chart shows the comparison between domestic price trend of Formaldehyde and Methanol from16th July to 20th July, 2018.

Previous week prices of Formaldehyde had followed volatile inclination and at the end of the week prices were assessed at Rs.18.5/Kg at Ahmedabad port. Prices of Methanol which is a feedstock of Formaldehyde also had followed volatile trend and at the end of the week prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 34/kg for Kandla and Rs 34.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

This week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed weak trend and at the end of the weak prices were assessed at Rs.18/Kg at Ahmedabad port, The prices of methanol also had followed volatile trend, on 16th July, 2018 Methanol prices were assessed at Rs 34.5/kg for Kandla and Rs 34.5/kg for Mumbai ports and at the end of the week on 20th July, 2018 prices of methanol were evaluated at Rs 33.75/kg for Kandla and Rs 33.75/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

CFR India prices of Methanol were assessed in the range of USD 382/MTS. This week prices have remained firm in compares to last assessed price.
