- Domestic prices of ISO Propanol have remained firm this week and were assessed at the level of Rs. 76.5/Kg.
- This week international prices of ISO Propanol have plunged in compared to the previous week.
- This week crude oil prices have followed weak trend. Oil prices fell sharply after the U.S. government reported crude stockpiles rose by 1.9 million barrels. The increasing U.S. oil production and crude stockpiles, and stock market sell-off, piled pressure on oil prices this week. A stronger dollar has also been a prevailing factor the decline. But the supply dynamics are working against a sustained price rally.
- European IPA prices have remained firm on firm sentiment.
- As per report, Zhuhai Long Success to shut IPA plant.
- FOB Korea prices of feedstock propylene were evaluated at USD 1070/mt.
- CFR China prices of feedstock propylene were evaluated at USD 1140/mt.
- Total imported quantity of IPA in 2017 was around 113568MT.In 2017 in the month of November imports of IPA was lower while in December imports was higher.
