• For the current week, domestic prices of MEK have remained firm in compare to previous week and were assessed at the level of Rs 105/kg.
• This week in international market, prices of MEK have decreased in compare to previous week.
• Market players said that MEK supply is anticipated to plunge in Q2 with the turnaround of a Japanese plant.
• As per report, European MEK supply is expected to be constant to lower in Q2 2018. There are no capacity changes expected in Europe in 2018.
• MEK demand is anticipated to remain stable through the second quarter of the year, Little demand is anticipated from the spring coatings season
