If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices then it can be observed that the prices of Melamine (Standard) have decreased in compare to previous week and at the end of the week were assessed at the level of Rs. 118/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs. 116/Kg for Mumbai port.

• This week in domestic market prices of Melamine standard and commercial quality have decreased and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 118Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.116/kg for Mumbai ports and commercial quality were evaluated at Rs. 117/kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.115/kg for Mumbai.
• This week International Melamine standard prices have fluctuated in compare to previous week, while commercial quality prices have remained firm.
• Melamine demand in southern Europe is flat, but buying interest has increased.
• China’s Xinji Jiuyuan shuts its melamine plant.
• In China market supply has been tight amid slow.
• Presently melamine market is moving with soft velocity in domestic market demand sentiments has been bearish.
