If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices then it can be observed that the prices of Melamine (Standard) have plunged and at the end of the week were assessed at the level of Rs. 106/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs. 104/Kg for Mumbai port.

• This week in domestic market prices of Melamine standard and commercial quality have plunged and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 106/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.104/kg for Mumbai ports and commercial quality were evaluated at Rs. 102/kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.100/kg for Mumbai.
• This week domestic melamine prices have remained firm but in compare to previous week prices have plunged. 
• This week International Melamine standard prices have remained firm, while Melamine Commercial prices have increased by USD 70/mt.
• Presently Melamine standard prices have remained firm as in Iran market demand discussion has been bearish.
• This week Melamine Commercial prices have increased as in China market demand is gradually improving.
• China melamine export prices to fall on ample supply and weak demand.
• Japan's Mitsui Chemicals to restart its melamine plant on 28th April.
• Total imported quantity of melamine in the month of March was around 6452mt.
