If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices then it can be observed that the prices of Melamine (Standard) have remained firm and at the end of the week were assessed at the level of Rs. 100/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs. 98/Kg for Mumbai port.

• This week in domestic market prices of Melamine standard and commercial quality have remained firm and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 100/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.98/kg for Mumbai ports and commercial quality were evaluated at Rs. 95/kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.93/kg for Mumbai.
• This week International Melamine standard prices have remained firm while commercial quality prices have increased.
• Domestic melamine market is moving with soft-to-firm velocity no healthy discussion has been heard for trade.
• In China, melamine market is moving with firm velocity.
• In Iran, market is moving with sluggish pace no major deals and dissuasion has been heard, while material is available in ample quantity.

• Total imported quantity of Melamine for the month of May was around 7057MT.
