If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices then it can be observed that the prices of Melamine (Standard) have remained firm and at the end of the week were assessed at the level of Rs. 112/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs. 110/Kg for Mumbai port.

• This week in domestic market prices of Melamine standard and commercial quality have remained firm and at the end of this week price were assessed at the level of Rs. 112/Kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.110/kg for Mumbai ports and commercial quality were evaluated at Rs. 111kg for Ahmedabad and Rs.109/kg for Mumbai.
• This week domestic melamine prices have remained firm. 
• This week International Melamine prices sharply have decreased as no major deals and discussion has been heard.
• In China melamine prices have plunged as an upstream product urea price have plunged but after the holiday china market had opened and market players said that in near term prices is likely to go up.
• In Iran market presently they are offering tender prices on 10th April as the tender will open then final offer prices will disclose, as per recent report.
• Presently in Iran market melamine prices is moving in the range of around USD 1190-1210mt
• As per news, US Q2 melamine prices seen a rollover to small gain.
• Report said that upward pressure on Europe Q2 melamine contract prices on cozy supply.
• Total imported quantity in previous six months fr5om September 2016 to February 2017 were around 17515mt
