- The above given graph focuses on the Phenol price trend for the current week.
- If we take a quick look at the above given weekly price trend it can be observed that this week domestic market prices of Phenol have decreased and at the end of the week were assessed at the level of Rs. 95/Kg for bulk quantity.
Total import at various ports of India January, 2018
Above graph represents the total imported quantity of Phenol for the month of January 2018. As per graph previous month total imports was around 39325MT. At Kandla port imports were higher while at Kolkata port imports were lesser.

- This week domestic phenol market prices were assessed around Rs.95/Kg for bulk quantity. Prices have plunged.
- CFR India prices for this week were assessed in the range of USD 1300-1310/MTS, prices have increased in compared to last assessed values.
- Feedstock benzene prices have decreased in Asian market this week.
- As per report, India phenol import prices have increased on high discussion from end users.
- On Thursday, closing crude values have increased. WTI on NYME closed at $62.77/bbl; prices have increased by $1.09/bbl in compared to last closing prices. While Brent on Inter Continental Exchange increased by $0.97/bbl in compared to last trading and was assessed around $66.39/bbl.
- Crude inventories had been forecast to rise 1.8 million barrels, as stocks seasonally increase when refineries cut intake to conduct maintenance. As per source, the unexpected fall in oil inventories in the U.S. should see support for crude oil prices remain strong.
- This week feedstock benzene prices also have escalated.
- FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 910/mt and USD 910mt respectively.
