Weekly Price Trend: 28-08-2017 to 01-09-2017
- If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that for the current week prices of Styrene Monomer have increased in compare to previous week and at the end of the week prices were assessed Rs.90/Kg for bulk quantity at Kandla and Rs 90/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

- The domestic prices of Styrene were assessed at the level of Rs.90/Kg for ex Kandla and Rs 90/kg Mumbai ports.
- CIF India prices were assessed at the level of USD 1320/MT.
- This week FOB Korea prices were assessed USD 1350/MTS prices have increased in compared to last week’s closing prices.
- CFR China prices were assessed in the range of USD 1365-1385/MTS, prices have increased in compare to previous week.
- This week SM prices have increased on increase in upstream benzene prices elevate in buying sentiments in China.
- In China in near term with the approach of the peak manufacturing-for-exports season next month styrene monomer end user sectors, prices have been rising on account of thise SM prices also will escalate.
- Tropical Storm Harvey continues to strike the US Gulf Coast, disrupting operations at the nation's hub for refineries and petrochemical plants. This leads to shortage of supply and increase in prices of chemicals.
- Benzene stock at east China has plunged to 124000mt, As per report.
- This week feedstock benzene prices have increased with the shortage of supply.
- FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 805/mt and USD820/mt respectively.
