If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that for the current week prices of Styrene Monomer have decreasedat Kandla port in compare to previous week and at the end of the week prices were assessed Rs.96/Kg for bulk quantity at Kandla and Rs 97/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

- The domestic prices of Styrene were assessed at the level of Rs.96/Kg for ex Kandla and Rs 97/kg Mumbai ports.
- CIF India prices were assessed at the level of USD 1370/MT.
- This week SM prices have decreased in international market.
- This Asia Sm prices have plunged on weak demand sentiments from end users.
- On Thursday, closing crude values have decreased. WTI on NYME closed at $60.12/bbl; prices have decreased by $1.03/bbl in compared to last closing prices. While Brent on Inter Continental Exchange decreased by $0.73/bbl in compared to last trading and was assessed around $63.61/bbl.
- On Friday, crude oil futures rose as Asian stock markets gained on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.
- As per report, U.S. crude output is expected to surge beyond 11 million bpd by late 2018, limiting the effectiveness of output cuts by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, Russia and other producers.
- Feedstock benzene prices have decreased in Asian market this week.
- FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 860/mt and USD 860/mt respectively.
