Weekly Price Trend: 06-11-2017 to 10-11-2017

• If we take a quick look at the above given weekly prices, it can be observed that for the current week prices of Styrene Monomer have remained firm in compare to previous week and at the end of the week prices were assessed Rs.86/Kg for bulk quantity at Kandla and Rs 87/kg for Mumbai ports of India.

Above graph represents the total imported quantity of Styrene Monomer for the month of September, 2017. Last month total import was around 86308MT. As per chart last month at Bombay port imported quantity was higher while at Ennore port import was lesser.

• The domestic prices of Styrene were assessed at the level of Rs.86/Kg for ex Kandla and Rs 87/kg Mumbai ports.
• CIF India prices were assessed at the level of USD 1175/MT.
• This week FOB Korea prices were assessed USD 1170/MTS prices have remained firm in compared to last week’s closing prices.
• SM demand sentiments have been firm in Asian market.
• Presently SM demand have remained firm no major deals and discussion has been heard but in near term demand sentiments will go up anticipated by market players.
• On Thursday, closing crude values have increased. WTI on NYME closed at $57.17/bbl; prices have increased by $0.36/bbl in compared to last closing prices. While Brent on Inter Continental Exchange increased by $0.44/bbl in compared to last trading and was assessed around $63.93/bbl.
