- This week domestic market price was assessed at Rs 59/kg for Kandla and Rs. 59.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.
- CFR India prices were evaluated at USD 865/mt, prices have increased in compares to previous week.
- Toluene prices in east China increased on strong gains in upstream crude market, while inventory at ports declined.
- As per report, supply is expected to rise after April, on plant restarts expected in Taiwan and South Korea from both scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns.
- US toluene demand is likely to increase in the second quarter as the spring gasoline season enters full force.
- CFR China price of toluene were assessed at the level of USD 830/mt.
- FOB Korea prices were evaluated at USD 805/mt prices has increased in compare to previous week.
- This week crude oil prices escalated. Oil prices hit $80 a barrel on Thursday for the first time since November 2014 on concerns that Iranian exports could fall because of renewed U.S. sanctions, reducing supply in an already tightening market.
